IACD can provide access to a network of certified chiropractors who offer a range of chiropractic treatments to address
During the official meetings held in Sydney (June 2005), The Indian Association of Chiropractic Doctors (IACD) was accepted as a national member of the World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC). This was a landmark event for India, as it allowed Chiropractic to exist in a nation in need of quality, non-invasive healthcare.
Under the Constitution and By-laws of the WFC as well as under the Tokyo Charter of the WFC, activities in India are intended to be vetted through the WFC member national association (IACD). On March 22, 2006, the IACD was officially launched in India in a press release before a news conference team at the Grand Intercontinental Hotel in New Delhi, with the Minister for Health, Family Welfare and Social Welfare, Dr. Yoga Nand Shastri, as the guest speaker. The event was a success, announcing chiropractic as an established form of health care that was now available in India.
